Direct Care Ltd believe in the ethos of continuous improvement. It is our policy to offer staff the opportunity to further their career development and to enhance their skills to their fullest potential. As a result the company offers a full induction programme which encompasses basic awareness in such areas as child protection‚ behaviour management‚ confidentiality and health and safety. Staff must attend an preliminary induction day prior to commencement of employment.
A further induction programme is then developed within their place of work. This programme is maintained in line with the TOPPS induction and foundation standards. Further‚ staff are enrolled on the NVQ level 3 and expected to complete their qualification within twelve months. Core training is offered in the following areas and is linked to both the foundation standards and the relevant NVQ modules:
