Residential care for young people
Direct Care specialises in providing residential care for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties aged 10-18. We are a small intimate company created out of the desire to make a difference. The whole team is passionate about providing outstanding levels of care in a safe, supportive and positive environment from which the young people can reach their full potential. As a small company we are able to assess and implement changes swiftly enabling us to adapt to the individual needs of each young person and provide them with the best possible care.
Our underlying approach is based on a strong relationship between staff and young people which we achieve with ongoing psychological support and training.
Direct Care has six residential homes in Northamptonshire and Lincolnshire, each of which can look after up to four young people at any one time. As well as providing a formal education we also focus on teaching the young people skills that will equip them to live a happy, healthy and independent life. We put a strong emphasis on the value of learning through experience and teach them how to take control of their lives.
